Received an "Item Exists" message?

This means that an item with the serial number you entered has already been saved to a Scannable inventory.

The first step to take in this situation is to double-check that you have entered the serial number correctly.

You can also search Scannable for that serial number to see if someone in your organisation has already saved it to the organisation’s inventory.

There is a chance that your item has a serial number that is the same as another item—this can happen when different manufacturers use the same serial format. You can still save the item by selecting ‘Continue’ when the ‘Item exists’ message appears.
