Learn how to search for an item to add to your inventory, and how to search your saved inventory items

The ‘Squircle’ Button in the mobile app.

The Squircle button is the place to Scan NFC Tags, 2D codes (QR and data matrix), and search for items to add to your inventory.

Searching in the Scannable Mobile App

Searching for an item to add to your inventory in the Scannable Mobile App

  1. To search for an item to add to your inventory, tap the ‘Squircle’ button

  2. Use the Search tab to search by name or part number, or try scanning the packaging barcode in the Scan tab

  3. From here you can add the item to your inventory and begin managing it through the item’s lifecycle

Searching items saved to your inventory in the Scannable Mobile App

  1. To search your saved inventory, tap the ‘Inventory’ tab

  2. Select the inventory list you would like to search - ‘My Inventory’ or ‘All Inventory’

  3. Use the text box to search by serial, part or batch number, or by name

If your saved item has a 2D Code or NFC tag

  1. To search for an item saved to your inventory that has a QR code or NFC tag added, tap the ‘Squircle’ button

  2. Select ‘NFC’ to search using the NFC tag

  3. Select ‘Scan’ to search using your phone’s camera and the 2D code

  1. To search for an item to add to your inventory, click on ‘Product Search’ in the left hand

  2. Use the text box to search by name or part number, or try scanning the packaging barcode by clicking on the ‘Scan’ button

Searching items saved to your inventory in the Scannable Mobile App

  1. Select ‘Inventory’ or ‘My Inventory’ from the left hand menu

  2. Use the text box in the upper right hand corner to search by serial, part or batch number, name, or you can scan an NFC tag if you have one of our USB NFC Readers
