You can add items to your inventory from both the Scannable web-based app, and the mobile app.
Adding items to your Inventory using the web-based app
There are two ways you can add an item to your inventory in the web-app:
In the Product Search section of your Scannable dashboard, search for your item
Select ‘Open’ next to the item you want to add
Select ‘Add to inventory’
Add your item’s information, and click save
or
In the Inventory section, click ‘Add Item’
Use the search box to search for your item
Click ‘Select’ next to the item you wish to add
Add your item’s information, and click save
Adding items to your Inventory using the mobile app
There are three ways you can add an item to your inventory in the mobile app:
From the app’s home screen, tap the ‘Add item’ button in the upper right of the screen
Use the text box to search for the item you want to add
Tap on the item you wish to add
Tap ‘Add to Inventory’
Enter your item’s information and tap ‘Add to Inventory’
or
From the app’s home screen, tap the ‘Squircle’ button
Tap ‘Search’
Repeat steps 2-5 above
or
From the Inventory screen, tap ‘+ Add Inventory’
Repeat steps 2-5 above
The ‘Squircle’ Button in the mobile app: The Squircle button is the place to Scan NFC Tags, 2D codes (QR and data matrix), and search for items to add to your inventory.
