Creating a Folder

Learn how to create a new folder.

You can create Folders using either the Scannable web app, or the mobile app.

Creating a Folder using the Mobile App

  1. Tap ‘Inventory’ on the bottom menu of the mobile app

  2. Tap '+ Folder' in the top right hand corner

  3. Enter the name of the folder you want to create, select the type of folder you are creating, give it a description should you need, and select the location for your folder

  4. Click 'Create Folder'

  5. Success! You can locate your new folder in the Inventory screen and start adding items to your folder.

Creating a Folder using the Web App

  1. Select 'Inventory' from the left hand menu

  2. Click '+ Folder' in the top right hand corner

  3. Enter a folder name, select the type of folder you are creating, give it a description should you need, and select the location for your folder

  4. Click 'Create Folder'

  5. Success! You can locate your new folder in the Folders side bar, and start adding items to your folder.
