Learn how to create groups

You can create Groups using either the Scannable web-based app, or the mobile app. Groups is a Scannable Pro feature.

Creating a Group using the Mobile App

  1. Tap ‘Groups’ on the bottom menu of the mobile app and navigate to the group you wish to share

  2. Select the relevant group category

  3. Tap the link at the top right corner: + Add Kit Bag, + Add Location, + Add Vehicle, + Add Client, + Add Staff, + Equipment Type

  4. Enter a name for the group you wish to create and click ‘Create’

  5. You will see a banner appear letting you know you have created a group.

  6. From here, you can tap ‘Open Inventory’ to start adding equipment to your group

  7. Tap ‘Options’ to add NFC, use the ‘Check off’ feature, share your group, update the name, or delete the group

Creating a Group using the Web-Based App

  1. Select the relevant group category from the left hand menu

  2. Tap the button at the top right corner: + Add Kit Bag, + Add Location, + Add Vehicle, + Add Client, + Add Staff, + Equipment Type

  3. Enter a name for the group you wish to create and click ‘Create’

  4. Your group will be added in alphabetical order. Find the group and click the group name or ‘View’ to open the group
