Using your Microsoft, Google, or Apple account to sign in to an existing Scannable account

Have an existing Scannable account and want to sign in using your Microsoft, Google, or Apple credentials? Here's how.

Updated over 4 months ago

To link your existing Scannable account to your existing Microsoft, Google, or Apple log-in details, simply click on the icon of the platform you wish to use.

You can only link accounts with the same email addresses: if you originally signed up with your gmail account ([email protected]), you will will need to use Google to sign in with your [email protected] credentials to ensure that your account is linked.

Your chosen platform will handle your authentication using your existing account credentials. The platform will confirm your identity, and the site or app then registers or logs you in using that information.

A few things to note:

Joining an Existing Organisation

If you wish to invite your team to your Scannable account, please follow the instructions to Invite Team Members. Creating an account and signing in using your Microsoft, Apple or Google account credentials will not automatically link you to an existing organisation in Scannable.

Privacy and Data Sharing

Using your existing log-in details does not mean that your data will be shared with any organisation outside of Scannable - it simply means that your chosen platform will handle your authentication using your existing account credentials. The platform will confirm your identity, and the site or app then registers or logs you in using that information. We will not share your data.
