You can now archive an inventory item instead of removing it. Archived items drop out of your active list, search, counts, exports, and expiry/inspection notifications — but nothing is deleted, and you can restore an item any time from the new Manage archives view

We've introduced guided sign-up. If you've been invited to an organisation, you now see that invitation first, rather than being asked to name a new organisation. Sign-up is now three steps (Invitations, About you, and Organisation), and the Organisation step only appears if you're not joining an existing one.

Admins can now unassign several items from a team member at once. From a team member's page, select the items and choose Unassign items from user. The items stay in your inventory.

If a user has been invited to an account they now see this invitation first if they try to sign up with the same email address.

We've improved the searching and scanning experience. The keyboard no longer “autocorrects” serials and search terms. We've also fixed a rare issue where Bluetooth scanner input could get jumbled mid-scan, and added better logging to help us track any future issues.

We've updated how inspection frequencies behave when edited. Reapplying a frequency now keeps its original dates, and you get a warning before a change moves an item’s next inspection date.

You can now download your inventory as a CSV as well as a PDF. The download button is now a menu. The CSV has the same columns as the PDF, follows whatever filters, search and folder you have on screen, and opens in a spreadsheet with dates formatted as dates.

The status column in inventory downloads now shows each item's current status, so an overdue item says it's overdue instead of showing its last "Passed" result.

You can add and remove parts from assemblies, and manage each part just like any other item in your inventory: record inspection results, add dates of manufacture and first use, track expiry dates, and more

Manage visibility and access to folders across your organisation. You can now set permissions at the folder level, letting you control who can see and work with specific parts of your inventory. This helps organisations keep sensitive or location-specific equipment visible only to the right people

Folders – Browse all your folders in one place and quickly see what's inside each one

Categories – Quickly filter your inventory by product type (for example, harnesses or carabiners). Categories are automatically derived from manufacturer data, so you don't need to recreate folders for item types

Labels – View your labels and all items tagged with each label

Labels are designed for flexible grouping, allowing a single item to have multiple labels. This makes it easy to tag equipment by use case (for example: PPE, rigging, or lifting) without affecting where the item is stored. Labels work alongside Folders, which provide structure to your inventory: Folders reflect real-world structure such as locations, vehicles, and kit bags; an item can only exist in one folder at a time, mirroring physical reality; Labels let you organise and review equipment independently of location. Together: Folders show where equipment lives, Labels show how equipment is used, Categories are automatically generated from manufacturer data

Labels are designed for flexible grouping, allowing a single item to have multiple labels — see the mobile update above for the full explanation of how Folders, Labels, and Categories work together

You can now scan NFC tags directly in the web app using a USB NFC reader. When you scan a tag that's linked to a folder or an item, it will open instantly — either taking you straight to the folder in your inventory or opening the item's side panel
