💡 A user with the Admin Role in Scannable can mark members of their Team as a Competent Person. Members of an account who have been marked as a Competent Person can access the Thorough Examinations feature in the Inspections screen.
To mark a team member as a Competent Person in the web app
Ensure you have Admin permissions
In the ‘Team’ menu of your Scannable Dashboard, select the ‘Members’ tab
Select the team member you want to mark as a Competent Person
Check the tick-box underneath the team member’s role
Click the ‘Update’ button
To mark a team member as a Competent Person in the Mobile App
Tap 'Me' in the bottom-right corner
Select 'Team'
Tap on the team member whose access you want to update
Use the dropdown to edit the team member's role
Use the checkbox to edit the team member's competent person status
Tap Update
