💡 A user with the Manager Role in Scannable can mark members of their Team as a <b>Competent Person</b>. Members of an account who have been marked as a Competent Person can access the Thorough Examinations feature in the Inspections screen.

To mark a team member as a competent person:

Ensure you have <a href="https://www.notion.so/Roles-27e085a594ce4c7a99495ac9bdb4da71?pvs=21" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Manager</a> permissions

In the ‘<a href="https://www.notion.so/Create-Teams-0420e30d2de1401e8164c69ea27cba49?pvs=21" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Team</a>’ menu of your Scannable Dashboard, select the ‘Members’ tab

Select the team member you want to mark as a Competent Person

Check the tick-box underneath the team member’s role

1. Ensure you have <a href="https://www.notion.so/Roles-27e085a594ce4c7a99495ac9bdb4da71?pvs=21" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Manager</a> permissions
2. In the ‘<a href="https://www.notion.so/Create-Teams-0420e30d2de1401e8164c69ea27cba49?pvs=21" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Team</a>’ menu of your Scannable Dashboard, select the ‘Members’ tab
3. Select the team member you want to mark as a Competent Person
4. Check the tick-box underneath the team member’s role
5. Click the ‘Update’ button
