Manually creating an item using the mobile app
Tap ‘Add Items’
Use the search bar to search for the product
If the search does not return a result or you cannot find the product you wish to add, Tap ‘+ Create Your Own’.
Enter your item’s information
Tap ‘Create Item’
The item is added to your Inventory
Manually creating a new product using the web app
In the Products section of your Scannable dashboard, click ‘+ Create Product’ in the top right hand corner
Select your product group from the drop down menu: descenders, harnesses, etc.
Enter the name of your product
Enter the item’s part number or product code. You can also enter a SKU name and barcode if you have it
If you are adding a rope or assembly (a product with more than one serialised item), you can add the details in the ‘Add components, original rope or rope splice/term’ field
Click ‘Create Product’
Your product is now available to add to inventory. From here you can also enrich the product’s data:
Search for the product in the search bar and select it
Complete the relevant fields in the 'Product Data' tab
