Using Inspection Checklists

Checklists ensure you are performing required steps during your equipment inspections. Learn how to use inspection checklists.

💡 Checklists ensure you are performing required steps during your equipment inspections. You can create your own checklists for an item or category, or choose from a manufacturer’s checklist.

Using checklists with the Mobile-App

  1. Checklists are available while you are recording inspection results.

  2. Search for the item(s) you want to record an inspection result against, or create a list of items using Multi-scan

  3. Select the item and tap ‘Options’ > ‘Inspect’

  4. Select a checklist from the dropdown menu

  5. Select ‘Pass’, ‘Monitor’, ‘Repair’, ‘Fail’ or ‘NA’ for each step on the checklist. There is the option to select all at the bottom of the checklist

  6. Complete the rest of your inspection

  7. You can view the item’s inspection history including checklist results in the item’s History tab

Using checklists with the Web-Based App

  1. Search for the item(s) you want to record an inspection result against, or create a list of items using Multi-scan

  2. Click on the three dots on the right hand side of the screen, and select ‘Inspect’

  3. Select a checklist from the dropdown menu

  4. Select ‘Pass’, ‘Monitor’, ‘Repair’, ‘Fail’ or ‘NA’ for each step on the checklist. There is the option to select all at the bottom of the checklist

  5. Complete the rest of your inspection

  6. You can view the item’s inspection history including checklist results in the item’s History tab
