Inspection Types and How Next Inspection Due Dates Are Calculated

Updated over 3 weeks ago

💡 You can only add one of each Inspection Frequency Type to an item: one Thorough and one Regular Inspection.

If an item has a Thorough Inspection Frequency type applied to it, only a Thorough Examination will change the next inspection due date.

This means that you can perform ‘Regular’ pre-use inspections without the Next Due date changing for your Thorough Inspection or LOLER.

If no Thorough Inspection Frequency is set against an item, the next inspection due date will recalculate according to the Regular inspection frequency that is applied.

If no Inspection Frequency is applied, the next due date will not be calculated.
