Learn how to define and set Inspection Frequencies for your items

You must use Scannable’s Web-Based app to define inspection frequencies

To define inspection frequencies for your equipment

  1. Head to the Inspections section of the Scannable web-based app

  2. Click ‘+ Create Inspection Frequency’

  3. Give your frequency a name, inspection type (Thorough or Regular), and define the frequency using the dropdown menu

To set an inspection frequency for a singular item of equipment

  1. You can set an inspection frequency on a singular item from the Inventory section

  2. Click on the three dots on the right hand side of the item you wish to set a frequency for, and select ‘Set inspection frequency’

  3. Use the dropdown menu to select the relevant frequency

  4. Click ‘Set Inspection Frequency’

To set an inspection frequency for multiple items of equipment

  1. You can set inspection frequency for multiple items from the Inventory section

  2. Select the items you wish to set and inspection frequency for using the check boxes to the left of the item’s name

  3. You can use the select all checkbox to select all items on a page. If your inventory has more one page then you will need to check the select all checkbox on all inventory pages

  4. Click the dropdown menu on the bottom left of the screen and select ‘Set inspection frequency’

  5. Use the dropdown menu to select the relevant frequency

  6. Click ‘Set Inspection Frequency’

You can also use Multi-scan to set the inspection frequency for many items of equipment
