Multi-select

Multi-select enables you to perform actions against multiple inventory items at once

Updated over a week ago

With Multi-select, you can perform actions against multiple items at once, like recording inspection results, moving items to folders, assigning items to team members, assigning items to groups/labels, and removing items from groups/labels.

Using Multi-select with the mobile app

  1. In the Inventory screen, select a folder or filter your inventory to find the items you wish to perform your desired action against.

  2. Tap 'Multi-select'

  3. Only the first 20 items in your list will load. The entire list does not load right away; instead, items are loaded in smaller chunks to prevent a slow loading time.

If your list has greater than 20 items, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the list to load all of your items.

Once you have scrolled to the bottom of your list, loading all items, you will need to make sure that 'Select all' is checked. If you tap 'Select all' before you scroll to load all items, the newly loaded items will not be selected. You will need to tap 'Select all' again to make sure all items are selected. A tick/check mark in this box indicates all loaded items have been selected.

  4. Alternatively, you can select items one at a time by tapping the check box to the left of the item.

  5. Tap 'Options'

  6. Select your desired action: Inspect, Assign to Groups / Team, Move to folder, or Remove items from group
